Cr2s for the Adventurer, Olympian, and Changing Fantasy Suit products have been
modified by Capsces Digital Ink with permission of Anton Kisiel.
This readme assumes you are familiar with Poser and some Windows conventions. Click a
link to view that topic. Use the Back button of your browser or the Top link to return to
the top. This document refers to the Changing Fantasy Suit as CFS.
You must have Anton's Adventurer, Changing Fantasy, and /or Olympian products
(available at DAZ3D) installed on your
computer to use all clothing items.
It is important to read Applying Clothing Poses to
understand how the poses are used.
Macintosh users will need to convert files before using. The recommended utility for this
is MartinC's Maconverter which is available at http://www.soft-rabbit.com
Boris Clothes Set 2 includes cr2s for Anton Kisiel's Adventurer, Changing Fantasy, and
Olympian products with additional morphs for Boris' muscular body type. Also included are
poses to easily match the clothing morphs to Boris' muscular morphs.
Files and folders installed are as follows:

Important Note: If you have Boris Clothes Set 1 installed
on your computer, a message may appear when installing this clothes set asking if you wish
to overwrite files with the same name. Just answer No as no files from the first set are
updated. However, the new clothes files will be put in the same folders as Set 1.
Unzip CDIBorisClothesSet2.zip to your Poser folder with the option to restore paths or
an equivalent option provided by your Zip program.
To install manually, unzip CDIBorisClothesSet2.zip to a temporary folder with the
option to restore paths or an equivalent option provided by your Zip program. Place the
CDI Boris Clothes folder (from the character folder) with its contents in your
Poser\Runtime\libraries\character folder. Place the CDI Boris Clothes folder (from
the Pose folder) with its contents, in your Poser\Runtime\libraries\Pose folder.
On running Poser 4 Boris' clothing will show up in the CDI Boris Clothes sub-category
of the Figures library. Readme files will be in the Poser\Runtime\libraries\character\CDI
Boris Clothes folder.
These are abbreviations used on the morph parameter dials.
H=height
L=lower
Ln=loin cloth
Lt=left
Rt=right
R=Round
U=upper
W=wide or width
Each body/partial body morph provided with Boris' clothes spans several different body
parts. Therefore, morphs with the same name should be set to equal values (i.e., the
MusclesNeck morph on the Adventurer outfit should be set to the same value on the neck,
chest and l and r collars). These body morphs are also set up as full body morphs, and are
more easily adjusted by selecting Body from the Current Element popup, then adjusting the
dial for the morph you wish to apply.
Important Note: The clothing poses are provided for
convenience, and are a great time saver once you know how to use them. However, they are
not necessary for the clothes to function. The clothing will work as any other morphed
clothing does. Clothing morphs have names which correspond to Boris' body morphs. This
section is very important to understanding how to use the clothing poses. Please follow
the steps of each method to apply a clothing pose. Though the first method is the
simplest, it may not work for everyone. The second method should work for everyone.
Method 1
1. Load Boris
2. Load all clothing (from the CDI Boris Clothes sub-category of the Figures library) to
use, conforming after each addition.
3. Select Boris (not an item of clothing) and apply any clothing pose numbered A1 (not 1a)
from the CDI Boris Clothes sub-category of the Poses library.
The clothing poses numbered A1 work because of cross-talk. They apply body morphs to
Boris, and because of cross-talk the body morphs are automatically applied to the
clothing. If these poses do not work, you can delete those numbered A1 and 1a and
color-coded black; then try poses numbered A2 and color-coded red using the following
instructions:
Method 2
1. Load Boris Null (if you plan to use more than one Boris).
2. Load Boris
3. Load all clothing (from the CDI Boris Clothes sub-category of the Figures library) to
use, conforming after each addition.
3. Select each item of clothing, and apply a pose numbered A2 (not 2a) from the CDI Boris
Clothes sub-category of the Poses library. You must apply the same pose to each item of
clothing.
4. Select Boris and apply the same clothing pose as applied in Step 3.
These poses do not use cross-talk, and should work for everyone. They apply the same
morphs as the poses numbered A1 via individual body parts, but are for use with two or
more figures. If using more than one figure, repeat steps 2 through 4 for the next figure.
Muscles poses apply all Capsces' muscle morphs at their full setting of 1.
Muscles Trim poses are the same as Muscles poses with MusclesBack turned down to
accommodate bent arm poses. MusclesBack1 is set to zero. MusclesThigh1 is turned down to
give a trim appearance. These poses work well for images where you want muscles to show
through or under the clothing or when the figure is wearing no shirt.
Apply A-Adventurer BeltFix and A-CFS2 BackFix after applying an A1 or A2 pose by selecting
the clothing item the pose adjusts, then double-clicking the pose.
A-Adventurer BeltFix gives the Adventurer belt a less slanted appearance.
A-CFS2 BackFix allows the shoulder armor of CFS 2 to be used with the vest without the
vest sticking through in the back.
A cr2 is provided to load the Changing Fantasy Suit Helm as a single object for use
with Boris' faces. This helm can be scaled and moved with the parameter dials. Follow the
steps below to use it with CFS 2:
1. After adding and conforming CFS 2, select the head of CFS 2
2. From the menu bar select Object, Properties and uncheck Visible. Click OK.
3. Add Boris CFS Helm (from the CDI Boris Clothes sub-category of the Figures library.)
4. Conform the Helm to Boris. Adjust scale and trans dials as needed to fit the face you
are using.
There are a few extra morphs on the boots of the Adventurer costume and the boots and
loin cloth of the CFS costume.
StrapW on the upper arm of the Changing Fantasy Suit does not work with the shoulder
plates of CFS 2.
The shoulder pad of CFS 2 will show through the collar plates of the Changing Fantasy Suit
when used together. This can be alleviated by selecting each collar of the CFS and
increasing the value of the MusclesNeck morph.
If you use a ChangePart dial to switch geometry, you may need to adjust morphs for the new
geometry.
Set MusclesBack to 0.500 or less with poses where the arms are down.
Most dials do not work well over a value of 1 or below a value of -1 where
appropriate.
Some morphs do not work well in combination with others.
If you wish to use Boris' clothing with Boris without the Boris figure controlling the
morphs, insert the Boris Null figure prior to inserting Boris or the clothing.
